2. General Information on Data Processing

We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. Legal bases are Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent), (b) (contract or pre-contractual measures), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) (legitimate interest). Personal data is deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, and delivered via its global content delivery network. When you access the website, Netlify processes the access data listed in section 4 on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Netlify. Netlify is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR) and, in addition, on the EU standard contractual clauses. 4. Provision of the Website and Server Log Files

Each time our website is accessed, the system automatically collects data and information from the accessing device: IP address, date and time of access, page or file accessed, previously visited page (referrer), browser and operating system used, and internet access provider. This data is stored in log files; it is not merged with other personal data.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in delivering the website, ensuring system security and analysing errors. Log files are deleted after 7 days at the latest unless a security-related analysis is required.

5. Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, tracking or advertising services. Consent management is therefore not required. The tooling calculator stores your entries only locally in your browser (session storage) so they can be transferred to the contact form; this data is not transmitted to us before you submit the form and is deleted when you close the browser. A STEP or STL file you drop into the calculator is analysed exclusively in your browser and is not uploaded.

To see how often the tooling calculator is used, we count its use anonymously: only the selected application, the dimensions entered, the calculated indicative price range and a random identifier that exists only for the duration of your visit in the browser tab are transmitted. IP addresses, names or other personal data are not stored; it is not possible to identify you. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in improving our offering).

6. Contact Form and E-mail Contact

A contact form is available on our website. The data entered there (name, company, e-mail address, optional phone number, message, where applicable your calculation from the tooling calculator and any CAD files such as STEP you attach) is transmitted to us via the form service of our hosting provider Netlify (see section 3), temporarily stored there for delivery and stored in our order management system, which is also operated at Netlify, for the purpose of processing your enquiry. Netlify notifies us of new enquiries by e-mail. We use CAD files solely to review and calculate your enquiry. The same applies to enquiries by e-mail. The data is not passed on to other third parties.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). The data is deleted once the enquiry has been finally processed and no statutory retention obligations (in particular under the German Commercial Code and Fiscal Code for business correspondence) prevent this.

7. Processing in the Context of Quotations, Orders and Business Relationships

To prepare quotations, process orders and issue invoices, we process the contact and contract data of our business partners (company, contact person, address, telephone, e-mail, design data, order data) on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Data is stored for the duration of the business relationship and within the statutory commercial and tax retention periods (6 or 10 years).

8. External Links and Embedded Content

Our website contains links to external websites, in particular to Catalysis 3D North America (catalysis3d.com). When you click on them, you leave our website; the privacy policy of the respective provider applies to data processing there. We currently do not use analytics or tracking services (e.g. Google Analytics) or social media plugins.

9. Your Rights

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data: right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. 10. Data Security

Data on this website is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS (TLS). We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access.
