2. General Information on Data Processing

We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. Legal bases are Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent), (b) (contract or pre-contractual measures), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) (legitimate interest). Personal data is deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you access the website, STRATO processes the access data listed in section 4 on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with STRATO. The servers are located in Germany.

4. Provision of the Website and Server Log Files

Each time our website is accessed, the system automatically collects data and information from the accessing device: IP address, date and time of access, page or file accessed, previously visited page (referrer), browser and operating system used, and internet access provider. This data is stored in log files; it is not merged with other personal data.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in delivering the website, ensuring system security and analysing errors. Log files are deleted after 7 days at the latest unless a security-related analysis is required.

5. Cookies and Consent Management

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use technically necessary cookies (e.g. to store your cookie settings) on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and § 25 (2) TDDDG. All other cookies are only set with your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG.

We use the consent tool „Borlabs Cookie“ (Borlabs GmbH, Rübenkamp 32, 22305 Hamburg, Germany) to manage consents. Borlabs Cookie stores your consent in a cookie („borlabs-cookie“) on your device; no personal data is transmitted to Borlabs. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the „Cookie Settings“ link in the footer of the website.

You can configure your browser to reject or delete cookies; in this case individual functions of the website may be restricted.

6. Contact Form and E-mail Contact

A contact form is available on our website. The data entered there (name, e-mail address, message) is transmitted to us and stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry. The same applies to enquiries by e-mail. The data is not passed on to third parties.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). The data is deleted once the enquiry has been finally processed and no statutory retention obligations (in particular under the German Commercial Code and Fiscal Code for business correspondence) prevent this.

7. Processing in the Context of Quotations, Orders and Business Relationships

To prepare quotations, process orders and issue invoices, we process the contact and contract data of our business partners (company, contact person, address, telephone, e-mail, design data, order data) on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Data is stored for the duration of the business relationship and within the statutory commercial and tax retention periods (6 or 10 years).

8. External Links and Embedded Content

Our website contains links to external websites, in particular to Catalysis 3D North America (catalysis3d.com). When you click on them, you leave our website; the privacy policy of the respective provider applies to data processing there. We currently do not use analytics or tracking services (e.g. Google Analytics) or social media plugins.

9. Your Rights

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data: right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
